Book Review ~ Courageous Women Of The Bible: Leaving Behind Fear And Insecurity For A Life Of Confidence And Freedom by LaTan Roland Murphy

Courageous Women Of The Bible: Leaving Behind Fear And Insecurity For A Life Of Confidence And Freedom by LaTan Roland Murphy showcases eleven Biblical women and shares their stories of courage during various life trials.

LaTan adds personal commentary and friendly conversation to each of these women's stories in order to show you how to apply each form of courage to your personal journey. She's also included insightful application questions following each chapter, as well as journaling pages at the end of the book.

If you are facing challenges dealing with leadership, rejection, finances, faithfulness, sexual sin, redemption, uncertainty, parenting, or hospitality - then Courageous Women Of The Bible will help you to refocus and center yourself, trusting God to give you the strength and confidence you need to overcome your fears. I found LaTan's personal and friendly nature to help me take an honest look at my own life, while adjusting my perspective of some familiar (and some not-so-familiar) women. I think this book would be beneficial for any woman who desires to open up to God and trust Him to handle whatever life throws your way. 4/5 stars.
